Vande Bharatam Nritya Utsav 2023

Vande Bharatam - Nritya Utsav, an all-India dance competition is an initiative taken by the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Culture as part of Republic Day Celebrations 2023 and under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav to work towards promoting the spirit of 'Jan Bhagidari', while also showcasing India's vibrancy thorough its dance.

The competition is a one-of-a-kind campaign that will be held for the second time, giving top dancing talent from across the country the opportunity to perform at the Republic Day Parade in 2023. The competition will be held at the state and zonal level, and will culminate with the grand finale on 20th December, 2022 in New Delhi. About the Nominations Performance video should not exceed 3 minutes. Participants can send the video as an individual or as a group of 2-10 members. Dance genres - Classical/folk/tribal/contemporary/fusion. It is mandatory to attach age proof. 1200 teams registered for the competitions and 185 teams finally performed at the grand finale. Total of 485 participants will finally perform at RDC
